CareerLeap (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides tools to support your career and professional development. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use CareerLeap on iOS and Android (including builds distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play) and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

• Account and profile information: Such as your name, email address, and other details you choose to add to your profile. We use this to create and maintain your account and provide core features of the Service.
• Content you provide: Information you submit in the app (for example, career goals, preferences, notes, or other text or files you choose to upload). We process this content to operate the Service and, where applicable, to personalize your experience.
• Purchase-related information: On iOS, subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. On Android, they are processed by Google through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements across platforms. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
• Technical and usage data: We may collect limited device, platform, or diagnostic information (for example, app version and operating system) as needed to secure the Service, fix issues, and improve reliability. This is handled in line with this policy and applicable law.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate you; communicate about your account or the Service; comply with legal obligations; and protect the security and integrity of CareerLeap.

3. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

We work with service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Where the Service includes AI-assisted features, inputs you provide may be sent to third-party AI or machine learning providers to generate responses or recommendations. Those providers are permitted to use such data only as needed to deliver the Service, consistent with their terms and our agreements. We do not sell your personal information.

For transparency, you should review the privacy notices of key subprocessors involved in the Service, including Apple (Apple Privacy Policy), Google (Google Privacy Policy), and RevenueCat (RevenueCat Privacy).

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information.

5. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. 6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

7. International Users

If you use CareerLeap from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
